During the Champions League clash between Milan's Inter and Kazakhstan's Kairat, thieves broke into the home of Nerazzurri and Italy national team defender Alessandro Bastoni.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening in Castelli-Calepio, located in the province of Bergamo. According to Italian outlet Ansa, there were at least four perpetrators. In just a few minutes, they stole valuable items, including designer bags and two Rolex watches, before escaping before security and the carabinieri arrived. The police in Bergamo have launched an investigation.
It is worth noting that Bastoni is a product of Atalanta's academy in Bergamo, where he trained from the age of seven. Since 2019, the defender has played for Inter, winning the Serie A title twice, and he also lifted the European Championship trophy with the Italian national team.
