Instead of Marmoush: Eintracht agree on Wahi transfer from Marseille

With Omar Marmoush officially completing his transfer today, the Frankfurt team began searching for a replacement and has already found one.

Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Elye Wahi is moving from Marseille to Eintracht. The German club offered an improved deal, which the French side accepted. Frankfurt will pay €26 million plus an additional €3 million in bonuses. Wahi is scheduled to undergo a medical examination on Friday, January 24.

This season, Wahi has played 14 matches for Marseille, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

Marmoush has been sensational for Frankfurt this season, tallying 20 goals and 14 assists in 26 matches across all competitions.

Earlier this month, City also signed central defenders Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis.

Reminder: Yesterday, Manchester City lost to PSG in the 7th round of the UEFA Champions League, dropping out of the top 24 in the standings. Pep Guardiola's team risks missing out on the tournament's playoffs.
