Saudi club Al-Nassr is aiming to shake up world football with what could become the most sensational and expensive managerial transfer in sports history.
Details: According to MidanAlYaum, the club where Cristiano Ronaldo plays has officially entered negotiations with Pep Guardiola. The Middle Eastern giants are looking to capitalize on reports of the Spanish manager’s impending departure from Manchester City and lure him to the Pro League.
Al-Nassr has prepared truly astronomical financial terms for Guardiola. The Saudi club has made the Spaniard an official offer with an annual salary of $150 million.
If this contract is signed, Pep Guardiola would instantly and by a massive margin become the highest-paid head coach in the history of world football.
Reminder: Earlier reports indicated that Pep Guardiola was planning to take a year-long sabbatical after finishing his stint with Manchester City and permanently step away from club football in Europe.
