The world of cryptocurrencies is gradually merging with football. Numerous clubs, such as Juventus, have their deals in this realm. Confederations are also keeping pace.

Details: FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated that the organization is interested in launching its own crypto token, and its capitalization might exceed FIFA's own revenue.

Quote: "FIFA is very, very interested in developing the FIFA coin to do this from here, from America, and conquer 5 billion football fans worldwide. If there's anyone here interested in joining forces with FIFA, here we are, together with the United States of America, and we will conquer the world of football with the FIFA coin. In the end, this coin might be worth more than FIFA. In fact, it could be quite a good coin," Infantino stated.

Reminder: The market quickly reacted to this statement. A token named FIFA appeared on cryptocurrency exchanges. Within a day, the price of this coin soared by 357,000% and reached a market capitalization of about $8.2 million. However, this token is not affiliated with the world's leading football governing body.
