INEOS ready to break its own rule to sign a replacement for Onana

Since arriving at Manchester United, INEOS introduced a policy of not signing players over the age of 26. However, the search for a new goalkeeper to replace André Onana seems to be pushing the club to reconsider its stance.
Details: According to United District, Manchester United has clearly identified Aston Villa's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez as their target to succeed the Cameroonian, despite him not fitting this transfer strategy. So far, the oldest player they've signed remains forward Matheus Cunha, who is already 26.
The Argentine shot-stopper, meanwhile, will soon turn 33, but his age isn't viewed as an obstacle by the Manchester United hierarchy. Initial talks have already taken place with Dibu’s representatives, and negotiations with Aston Villa are expected to begin soon.
Reminder: Earlier reports indicated that head coach Ruben Amorim wants to see players at Manchester United who are "ready to give everything for the club."
