Incredible turn: Bayern and Alphonso Davies close to a new contract

For the past few months, the situation surrounding Alphonso Davies’ contract has been uncertain, but it now seems to be nearing a resolution.

Details: According to insider David Ornstein, the two sides are close to agreeing on a new deal. Davies is expected to sign a four-year contract with an option for a one-year extension. Real Madrid and several Premier League clubs remain interested, but a compromise with Bayern appears likely.

Significant progress was made today during negotiations between Bayern’s sporting director and Davies’ agent. Alphonso is set to stay in Munich, with only some terms left to finalize.

Notably, the Munich club has also secured an extension with Jamal Musiala. Currently, the final details regarding his salary are being worked out.

Reminder: Bayern Munich's young striker Mathys Tel has seen limited playing time this season, prompting discussions about a potential swap deal with another French player. Bayern and Chelsea have reportedly started negotiations for an exchange involving Mathys Tel and Christopher Nkunku.
