Incredible performance! Ex-Barcelona star makes 4 assists for Inter Miami

Last night, Inter Miami triumphed in an extraordinary Round of 16 match in the Leagues Cup, defeating Toronto 4-3.

MLS’s biggest star, Lionel Messi, continues to recover from a calf injury sustained during the 2024 Copa América final. However, even in his absence, Inter Miami found a star performer.

All four of Inter Miami's goals were assisted by the legendary former Barcelona left-back, Jordi Alba. One of the goals was scored by the equally legendary Luis Suárez, Matías Rojas netted a brace, and the remaining goal was scored by Diego Gómez.

In the Round of 16, Inter Miami will face the winner of the match between Sporting Kansas City and Columbus Crew.

Let’s not forget, Inter Miami was the winner of the inaugural Leagues Cup last year.
