Incredible debut. Gonzalo García makes Real Madrid history

In the opening match of the Club World Cup group stage, Real Madrid faced Al Hilal. One of Los Blancos’ players etched his name into the tournament’s history books.
Details: Real Madrid took the lead thanks to a goal from Gonzalo García. The 21-year-old was making his debut appearance for Los Blancos. According to Opta, he became the fourth-youngest player in Real Madrid’s history to score on his debut, dating back at least to the 2009/10 season.
Only three players were younger: Jude Bellingham (20 years and 44 days), Marco Asensio (20 years and 201 days), and Dani Ceballos (21 years and 47 days).
Reminder: French striker Kylian Mbappé did not feature in the opening match of the tournament—not only was he left out of the starting lineup, he was not included in the matchday squad at all.
