Central midfielder Ilkay Gündogan only joined Barcelona in the summer of 2023, but he may already leave the club in the current transfer window.
According to Catalunya Radio, Gündogan has an attractive three-year contract offer from top Qatari club Al-Sadd.
Gündogan is interested in this option, and Barcelona is willing to let him go to reduce the wage bill and facilitate the transfers of Dani Olmo and Nico Williams.
Al-Sadd are the champions of Qatar. It is worth noting that Barcelona legend Xavi finished his playing career at this club and later became Al-Sadd's head coach.
In the recently concluded season, Gündogan scored 5 goals and provided 9 assists in 36 La Liga matches.
