A few days ago, Premier League referee David Coote was involved in a scandal after a video surfaced in which he insulted Liverpool and Klopp. However, he has now landed in yet another controversy.

Details: According to The Sun, a video has emerged online in which the English referee appears to be using drugs. The video was reportedly taken on July 6, a day after the Euro 2024 quarterfinal match between Spain and Germany, where Coote was acting as an official VAR support representative.

Coote allegedly sent the video to a friend, and it is believed to have been filmed in his hotel room, which was funded by UEFA. Additionally, Coote shared a photograph from Frankfurt on July 1, showing his credit cards placed on saucers on either side of six lines of a suspicious white powder.

An anonymous source revealed that David Coote made other disparaging remarks about Everton and Liverpool’s full-back Andy Robertson.

Reminder: The Premier League has officially announced that Coote has been suspended from duty pending the completion of an investigation. Additionally, they have suspended the individual seen with the English referee in the controversial video.
