Let's recall that Messi and Inter arrived in Chicago to play the next round of the MLS championship against the local Chicago Fire. Despite the Argentine's best efforts, his team couldn't secure a victory, ending the match in a 0-0 draw.

Due to the loss of points, Inter Miami has slipped to 5th place in the standings after 8 rounds. However, the team from Florida has only played 7 matches and holds a game in hand. They trail the championship leader, currently Vancouver Whitecaps, by 4 points.

It's noteworthy that in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, the Floridians have reached the semi-finals, where they will face Vancouver.

This season, Leo Messi has played 10 matches for Miami across all competitions. He has scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists. The Argentine missed some games due to injuries.
