Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the national team for the Nations League matches. The footballer shared photos confirming his arrival to the squad on his Instagram page.

Cristiano posted pictures where he poses in a stylish outfit—a leather jacket, white T-shirt, and sunglasses. He also captioned his photos with the phrase “Nice to be back” and added a Portuguese flag emoji.

It's well-known that Ronaldo is a great patriot of his country, so it's obvious that he's always pleased to return to the Portugal national team camp.

Let's recall that the Portuguese have reached the quarter-finals of the Nations League, where they will face Denmark. If they advance past this opponent, Portugal will face the winner of the Italy/Germany matchup in the semi-finals.

It should be noted that Ronaldo debuted for the national team back in 2003. Since then, he has played 217 matches for the national team, scoring 135 goals and providing 46 assists. Together with the team, Cristiano won the 2016 European Championship and the 2019 Nations League.
