The Argentine shared a touching video on Instagram, showing his mother helping him work on his injured knee.
The video captures Martínez lifting and straightening his leg while his mother, sitting beside him, offers words of encouragement.
Martínez sustained the injury in early February during a match against Crystal Palace. Reports suggest he could be sidelined for up to a year due to the severity of the damage.
After undergoing surgery, the Argentine is now focused on his rehabilitation.
"I feel immense gratitude for the incredible work and support of Man United, Argentina federation, my family, friends, teammates, and everyone who took the time to send me a message of encouragement," Martínez wrote on social media following the injury.
Martínez has been with Manchester United since 2022, making 91 appearances and winning both the FA Cup and the League Cup during his time at the club.
