First time since 2011. Aston Villa shipped four goals to Sheffield United in the first 30 minutes

Aston Villa is playing an away match against Sheffield United in the 23rd round of the Premier League.

The Birmingham-based team found the net four times within the first 30 minutes of the match against the home side. John McGinn, Ollie Watkins, Leon Bailey, and Youri Tielemans were the goal scorers against the Blades.

Under the management of Unai Emery, Aston Villa replicated an achievement last seen with Chelsea in 2011. Back then, the Blues also scored four goals within the first half-hour against Bolton.

Additionally, Aston Villa scored three goals within the first 20 minutes of a Premier League match for only the third time in its history. Previously, the Birmingham side achieved this against Leicester in August 2003 and Brentford in October 2022. However, this is the first time Aston Villa accomplished this feat in an away game.
