A bizarre incident occurred in New Zealand involving world jiu-jitsu champion Chris Bower, when an unidentified man attacked him.

Details: In a video shared on social media, it can be seen that the man followed Bower for over a kilometer. Bower attempted to de-escalate the situation, but it was in vain.

Quote: "I had just arrived here from the United States this morning. When I left the hotel, this gentleman started following me. He approached me, threatened me, and told me he was going to take my money.

The man lunged at me. I took his back, choked him until he passed out, and now he's in full control, waiting for the police to arrive," Bower told the NZ Herald.

Bower runs his own martial arts school, Bowerhouse MMA, in the United States, and has been competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu for years, winning gold medals in Brazil, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Portugal.

Reminder: UFC president Dana White recently revealed ambitious plans for the upcoming Noche UFC tournament, stating that he aims to produce a documentary film about the event, which he hopes will be nominated for all the top film awards.
