‘I'm satisfied’. Conte bizarrely commented on Kvaratskhelia's angry reaction to the substitution
Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored in the last Serie A match against Monza, but his manager Antonio Conte did not let him play the full match, substituting him on 75 minutes. This caused the Georgian to react angrily, but the Partenopei head coach is calling for calm.
Thoth saw no anger in Kvaratskhelia's actions, while at the same time he was pleased with the way the winger reacted to the substitution, believing he was worried about playing as much as possible:
‘'I didn't see any malice. He did what he had to do, he scored a goal and had a good game. Maybe he was nervous because of the warning he received and some of the referee's decisions. I am satisfied because it means he is very involved in the game,’ Conte said at a press conference.
It will be recalled that Kvaratskhelia was linked with a move away from Napoli this summer, but Neapolitan club boss Aurelio De Laurentiis refused to let the Georgian leave.
