"I'm loving it!" Chelsea's Cole Palmer surprises McDonald's staff with unexpected visit
Chelsea star Cole Palmer made an unexpected stop at a McDonald's drive-thru, delighting the staff, reports Daily Mail. The English forward, currently enjoying a break in his hometown of Manchester during the international pause, took advantage of his downtime as he wasn't called up for the national team due to an injury.
Palmer decided to swing by a local McDonald's for a quick treat. Pulling up to the drive-thru window, he was immediately recognized by the staff, who couldn’t resist the opportunity to snap some photos with the Chelsea player, mimicking his signature goal celebration.
In addition to his fast-food stop, Palmer was also spotted attending a League One match between Stockport and Wrexham. To stay warm, he wore a ski mask that concealed his face in the chilly stands.
Palmer recently appeared on the cover of British GQ alongside fellow England squad member Kobbie Mainoo.
The Chelsea forward has been in exceptional form this season, tallying 7 goals and 5 assists in just 13 matches. Last season, he had an outstanding record of 27 goals and 15 assists across 48 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea. Palmer also scored England’s lone goal in their Euro 2024 final loss to Spain.
