Barcelona's goalkeeping department can once again count on 33-year-old Marc-André ter Stegen.

Details: The 60-year-old Barcelona head coach, German Hansi Flick, commented on the return of his compatriot Marc-André ter Stegen after a serious injury:

"Ter Stegen may get medical clearance tomorrow. I'm happy to see him back, but

Joan Garcia will remain the starting goalkeeper," Flick stated.

Ter Stegen suffered a back injury on July 24 this year and has since undergone rehabilitation, which cost him his spot in the starting lineup.

Despite his comeback, ter Stegen is still expected to leave the Blaugrana due to an unresolved conflict with head coach Hansi Flick.

Marc-André ter Stegen joined Barcelona back in 2014 and has since played 422 matches for the Blaugrana, conceding 416 goals and keeping 175 clean sheets.

His current contract with the club runs until 2028, but it is increasingly likely he will have to leave the team as early as this winter.
