The Senegalese international striker rounded off pre-season in the best possible way.

Iliman Ndiaye once again made his mark for Everton in the friendly against Lille on Saturday 15 August at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. The Senegalese international found the back of the net in the 42nd minute.

Iliman Ndiaye stepped up to take a penalty awarded to Everton following a foul on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall inside the penalty area. The Senegalese forward rose to the occasion and converted the spot-kick to give the Toffees a 1-0 lead.

Although Everton conceded a draw in stoppage time after Hakon Arnar Haraldsson equalised for Lille to make it 1–1, Iliman Ndiaye confirmed his good form during this pre-season. Prior to his goal this 15 August, the Senegalese striker had scored against Newcastle on 12 August, also in a friendly.

Iliman Ndiaye has thus scored two goals in two pre-season matches.
