Iga Świątek cruised into the quarterfinals of the Cincinnati tournament with ease

In the Round of 16 at the Cincinnati tennis tournament, world number one Iga Świątek faced off against Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk.
Kostyuk took an early lead in the first set, going up 1-0, but Świątek quickly seized control, advancing to a 4-1 advantage. Kostyuk managed to break once more, but the Polish star held firm, taking the first set 6-2.
Świątek started the second set dominantly, winning the first three games. The match then saw some back-and-forth, but Świątek's strong lead allowed her to close out the set 6-2.
In the end, Świątek secured a 2-0 victory, advancing to the quarterfinals in Cincinnati, where she will face the winner of the Andreeva/Paolini match.
