Iga Świątek's father reveals how the tennis star unwinds when she returns home

Tennis ace Iga Świątek rarely gets the chance to spend time at home, as the tennis tour keeps her on the road for most of the year. But whenever she visits her parents, she always finds something to do—her father Tomasz shared some insights during the “Eye to Eye” program on TVP Sport.
Tomasz admitted that the 24-year-old star actually loves tidying up the house whenever she stays with him.
“She doesn’t lock herself away in her room. She wants to meet up with friends. She throws herself into cleaning—it helps her relieve stress. She’ll clean a room that’s already spotless. Let’s be honest, the fact that she’s world number one hasn’t changed her,” Tomasz Świątek said.
He also mentioned that sometimes Iga’s urge to clean even extends to his garage, which can lead to disagreements between them. Tomasz prefers that no one disrupts the order he’s established in his personal space.
As a reminder, Iga Świątek was defeated by Aryna Sabalenka in the semifinals of the recently concluded Roland Garros.
