Cesc Fabregas could make a surprise return to Chelsea. According to CityAM, the former Blues midfielder, now head coach of Como, is being considered as one of the candidates for the London club's managerial post following the dismissal of Liam Rosenior earlier this week.
Como president Mirwan Suwarso has stated that the club will not stand in the way if Fabregas decides to take the Chelsea job.
If this makes him happy—that's his choice. We want our staff to stay as long as possible, but ultimately he does not belong to us, and he is free to move to Chelsea if he wants to," Suwarso said.
As a reminder, Fabregas, who played for Chelsea from 2014 to 2019, is currently managing Como and is regarded as one of the leading candidates for the vacant role at the London club.
