Idrissa Gueye signs permanently for Udinese
The Italian club has exercised the buy-out clause for the young Senegalese forward.
Having arrived on loan last summer, Idrissa Gueye will not be returning to Metz. His move to Udinese is now permanent. The young Senegalese striker has impressed the Italian club’s management.
Udinese have exercised the mandatory buy-out clause included in his loan from Metz, for a fee of around €6 million. Although he has not featured regularly for Udinese’s first team, Idrissa Gueye made his mark last weekend. Coming on as a substitute, he found the back of the net to score his first goal in Serie A.
With this permanent transfer, the young Senegalese player could carve out a place for himself in Udinese’s first team if he manages to establish himself through his talent.
