Ibrahimović personally pushed three players out of Milan this winter
As an advisor to AC Milan’s management, Zlatan Ibrahimović has taken on a major role within the club. Previously, during Paulo Fonseca’s tenure, the Swedish legend had a reported conflict with the Portuguese coach, and now he is actively involved in key personnel decisions.
Details: According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ibrahimović “gently asked” Álvaro Morata, Fikayo Tomori, and Davide Calabria to leave Milan following a meeting at Milanello over the weekend.
All three players were already close to departing San Siro: Morata was set for a medical at Galatasaray, Tomori had attracted interest from Tottenham, though the transfer ultimately collapsed, Calabria was preparing to join Bologna.
Reminder: Earlier reports indicated that Milan had reached an agreement with Feyenoord to sign striker Santiago Giménez.
