According to L’Equipe, a knee problem was detected during the medical examination prior to the Senegalese player signing his contract. As a result, Ibrahima Ba will no longer be signing for Strasbourg and will have to return to Famalicao.

However, the 21-year-old Senegalese defender was expected to sign a four-season contract with the French club.
