Ibrahim Sangare Signs New Nottingham Forest Contract Until 2029

Nottingham Forest midfielder Ibrahim Sangare has officially signed a new three-year contract that will keep him at the club until June 2029.

The Ivory Coast international has committed his future to Forest after an important spell at the City Ground since joining from PSV Eindhoven in September 2023.

Sangare, 28, expressed his delight at extending his stay and thanked the Forest supporters for their backing throughout his time at the club.

“I’m delighted to sign the new contract. It’s a good moment too for me to thank the fans. Last season wasn’t always easy, but they were always with us and I have always felt their support.

“It’s been three years here and it has become a family for me in that time. I feel good, I have learned a lot, and worked hard to get to this point. I’m really looking forward to working with the new coach and for the season to start.”

Since arriving from PSV, Sangare has made 77 appearances across all competitions, contributing two goals and four assists.
