Ibrahim Mbaye promises a strong comeback following Senegal’s elimination from the 2026 World Cup

The Senegalese international expressed his disappointment at seeing the Lions of Teranga’s campaign come to a premature end.

Senegal were knocked out in the round of 32 of the World Cup, which is being held in the United States, Canada and Mexico. In the wake of this disappointment, Ibrahim Mbaye addressed a message to the Senegalese people, one tinged with bitterness but also with hope.

Despite his disappointment, the Senegalese striker emphasised the honour of representing his country on the world’s biggest stage.
