The 22-year-old winger has decided to turn his back on the Netherlands to defend the colours of the Syli National.

Having played for the Dutch youth national teams until now, Ibrahim Cissoko has chosen to represent the country of his African origins. He opted to change his sporting nationality in order to represent Guinea on the international stage.

Born in Nijmegen in the Netherlands, Ibrahim Cissoko will be a valuable addition to the Syli National team. With his change of nationality now official, he could be called up for the Guinea national team's next gathering during the international break in March 2026. The player currently plays for Bolton Wanderers in League One (English third division). He arrived on loan from Toulouse FC.
