Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis has shared his opinion on the upcoming exhibition bout between his former opponent Mike Tyson and the YouTuber Jake Paul.

Lewis stated that he is interested in this fight, despite the criticism surrounding its organization.

"Absolutely, it's going to be a great fight. I'm looking forward to it.

I do not regret that the fight was not sanctioned as official. No, because I would be very sorry for Jake Paul. I don't want him to get hurt," replied the former undisputed heavyweight champion.

Tyson and Paul are set to face off in a boxing match on July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA, in the main event of the card, which will be broadcast on Netflix. The fight will be an exhibition match.

The event will take place at the 80,000-seat stadium of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys. More than 85,000 people have signed up to gain access to tickets for the event when they go on sale.

Earlier reports mentioned a strange test for Mike Tyson that could jeopardize the fight.
