Miralem Pjanić played for both Juventus and Barcelona, and has now announced that he is bringing his career to an end.

Details: In a comment to Tuttosport, Pjanić stated that he will no longer play. He is staying in Dubai, but for him, football is over.

Quote: “I will not play anymore. I have ended my career. I now live in Dubai and I am no longer a footballer, but a father to my young son: he is my priority,” Pjanić said.

In 2016, Pjanić joined Juventus, before moving to Catalan giants Barcelona in September 2020. He also spent a year on loan at Turkish club Beşiktaş. In 2022, he signed a contract with UAE-based club Sharjah.

Reminder: Barcelona and Uruguay national team centre-back Ronald Araújo, 26, has returned to training. Araújo took part in the latest open training session with the Catalan side.
