Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior has responded to a provocative banner displayed by Manchester City fans during yesterday's UEFA Champions League match.

Before kickoff, City supporters unveiled a banner featuring an image of Rodri from the Ballon d’Or ceremony, along with the text: "Stop crying your bitter tears."

Quote. "I have never in my life feared any tifosi or rival fans… I just want to help my team and bring victories to Real Madrid," Vinícius briefly commented on the provocation directed at him.

Earlier, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois suggested that Vinícius might not have fully understood the meaning of the words on City's banner.
