"I was in love, but not now": Kylian Mbappé opens up about his personal life

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has shared rare details about his personal life, a topic the footballer usually keeps private. The Frenchman spoke candidly in an interview with Clique.

When asked if he had ever confessed love to someone since becoming famous, Mbappé initially mentioned his family—his mother, brother, and father. However, he later admitted he had been in love with a woman and hopes to experience such feelings again in the future.

Mbappé also revealed the challenges of maintaining relationships given the intense demands of his life.

"Imagine, if with everything you live, there is someone next to you. The person next to me is not necessarily ready to live all this stuff. I’m not going to be her boyfriend; I’m going to be her psychologist, because she’s going to think, ‘What is this mentally ill life?’" Mbappé explained.

The footballer has previously been linked to transgender model Ines Rau, as well as Stephanie Rose Bertram. Rumors have also circulated about potential relationships with Kim Kardashian, Alicia Aylie, and Emma Smet.
