"I was born three miles from Stamford Bridge". Chelsea have announced the transfer of the defender
Chelsea has officially announced its first transfer of the current summer. On a free transfer from Fulham, central defender Tosin Adarabioyo has moved to Chelsea, signing a four-year contract with the "Blues."
"Chelsea is a huge club and this is a full-circle moment for me. I was born three miles away from Stamford Bridge and made my professional debut there. I’m very excited and looking forward to helping push the club in the direction we want to go”, Adarabioyo commented on his move.
The 26-year-old center-back is a product of Manchester City's academy and has been with Fulham since the summer of 2021. Previously, he also had loan spells at Blackburn and West Bromwich.
In the recently concluded Premier League season, Adarabioyo played 20 matches and scored 2 goals.
It's worth noting that in the upcoming season, Enzo Maresca will be coaching Chelsea instead of Mauricio Pochettino.
