Recently, there have been rumors about a possible transfer of Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea. However, Manchester United's head coach does not want the Argentine to leave.
Details: Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Ruben Amorim made it clear that he wants to keep both Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo. He also emphasized the need to improve the academy and give young players more game time to maintain their match fitness.
Quote: "I want to keep players like Mainoo and Garnacho. We must improve the academy, and we need to develop more… play, feel the shirt, and also make sales under PSR. I want to prepare for the next game with Kobbie and Garnacho, for sure," Amorim stated.
The coach also added that Garnacho has changed, realizing that he simply wants to help the player and win matches.
Reminder. Earlier reports suggested that Napoli aimed to finalize a deal for Garnacho within 48 hours.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is also preparing an official bid for the Argentine forward.
