The head coach of Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino, discussed this project and the team's relationship with the supporters.

According to the Argentine, he came here to work in a completely different club compared to what was built at Chelsea in the past 20 years. Therefore, fans might be dissatisfied with such a change, hence they need to be brought back to the side of the team and convinced that this project will be successful.

"I took a risk with my own reputation when I came here to work on a project that involves building a team of young and talented players who have the potential to become top-tier players.

We understood how challenging this is: to build a team, win matches, be competitive, and cultivate relationships with the fans. I do not wish to be a populist," stated Pochettino.

From the very beginning, he wanted to build sincere relationships with the fans. However, not by kissing the badge or performing peculiar acts in the coaching zone during matches to win the favor of the audience. Pochettino wants to provide the team with the necessary tools for victory so that trust in the team comes through winning matches, not through other factors.

"It was perhaps in the match against United that I first felt the connection between the team and the fans. This should help us in future matches; it is very important. There are 9 matches left in the Premier League.

If we win each one of them, we will definitely play in European competitions. Currently, we are focused on Sheffield, the next match is always the most important," added the Argentine specialist.

Recall that Chelsea secured an incredible victory over Manchester United, scoring two goals in the 90+10 and 90+11 minutes. Cole Palmer completed a hat-trick in this game.
