Four-belt heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk shared his expectations for the upcoming championship fight in the heavyweight division against Tyson Fury.

According to the Ukrainian, he is fighting for his nation, which is going through challenging times, while the "Gypsy King" is only fighting for himself.

“Every morning when I get up at five to run, the first thing I think about is my country and my people. I think about our people that are fighting on the front lines and the sacrifices they are making for me and my family. I am going right back to Ukraine after the fight. I love my people. I want to give them joy in winning. I am fighting for an entire nation. Tyson Fury fights for himself.” Usyk said for The Ring.

The bout between Usyk and Fury is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia on February 17. These boxers have never faced each other before.

In his last fight, Usyk defeated Daniel Dubois, while Fury narrowly defeated Francis Ngannou in October.
