Experienced Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has shared an update on his condition one week after undergoing surgery.

Quote: “It’s been a week since the surgery. I’ve felt pain, sleepless nights, and difficult moments. But I’ve felt so strong, and I’ve felt the love from the people close to me... One week closer to my return!” Carvajal wrote on his social media.

Reminder: The 32-year-old defender suffered a serious ACL injury in his knee during a La Liga match against Villarreal (2-0). The Spanish player now faces surgery and several months of rehabilitation.
