‘I dreamed of this’. Ronaldo thanked fans for 900 career goals

In the UEFA Nations League match against Croatia, Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo scored his nine hundredth career goal. The 39-year-old striker paid homage to his fans for reaching the milestone.

Ronaldo posted the video on his X account (formerly Twitter), signing it with the following text: ‘I dreamed of this and I have many more wishes. Thank you all!’. In the video we can see the phrase ‘I don't chase records, records chase me’.

Ronaldo has scored 131 of the 900 goals in his career for the Portuguese national team. Exactly half of the figure of 900 goals, namely 450 he scored as part of Real Madrid. He scored another five times for Sporting, 145 goals for Manchester United, 101 for Juventus and another 69 for Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr, who he now represents.

Ronaldo himself has previously stated that the target for him is a figure of 1,000 goals for his career.
