"I don't know about the comments." Giannis responded to Trump's statements directed at him
Recently, Donald Trump shared his thoughts about NBA Greek basketball player Giannis Antetokounmpo, comparing who has more Greek blood. The basketball player has already been asked about this.
Details: At a press conference, Giannis was asked how he reacted to such statements from one of the U.S. presidential candidates. The Milwaukee Bucks player stated that he wasn’t aware of them and, in general, doesn’t follow politics much.
Quote: "I don't know about the comments. Ultimately, I don’t follow politics closely. What I do follow, I try to keep private for myself and my family. I'm here, you know, to win basketball games, not to answer questions unrelated to basketball. But I wish both candidates good luck," Giannis replied.
Reminder: Reports have surfaced that Milwaukee may consider trading their star Antetokounmpo during this season. Miami and Brooklyn listed as his preferred options.
On a side note, the U.S. presidential election is scheduled for November 5, with Trump’s main competitor being Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
