British driver for the McLaren team, Lando Norris, has been crowned the 2025 Formula 1 World Champion. After his historic triumph, the driver couldn't hold back his emotions, but still managed to approach the moment with a sense of humor.

“These aren't tears, I’m not crying! Honestly, I didn't think I would cry. The season was so long. I want to thank the team for this achievement. What an incredible car. Thanks to my family and everyone who supported me,” said Norris.

The driver also acknowledged his main rivals this season:

“It's an incredible feeling. I want to thank Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri—they were my main competitors and it was a pleasure to battle with them. I learned a lot from both and truly enjoyed the season.”

Reminder: In the final standings, Norris edged out Verstappen by just two points, claiming the first title of his career.
