Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde has released an official statement, firmly denying rumors of a violent altercation.

Details: The player clarified that his trip to the hospital was the result of an unfortunate accident: during a heated argument with a teammate, he struck his head on a table in a moment of emotion, suffering a cut on his forehead.

Valverde emphasized that neither he nor his teammate resorted to physical force; the incident was simply the result of mounting stress.

"Today, we had another disagreement. During the argument, I accidentally hit my head on the table, which caused a small cut on my forehead. It just required a routine hospital visit. At no point did my teammate hit me, and I did not hit him either. This was a total accident, the culmination of a pointless argument."

The Uruguayan admitted that his outburst was mainly due to deep frustration over a disastrous season. According to Fede, the pain of crashing out of the Champions League and the realization that the whole year had been wasted pushed him to his emotional limit.

He also spoke candidly about the presence of "informants" within the squad, who leak inside information and deliberately blow minor disciplinary incidents out of proportion, turning them into global scandals.

"In a normal dressing room, things like this happen and are usually resolved internally, without becoming public. Clearly, someone here is spreading rumors. In a trophyless season, when Real are always under the spotlight, every little thing is blown out of all proportion."

Valverde concluded his statement with a heartfelt apology to fans and teammates. He stressed that Real remains his greatest priority, and it pains him to know that, due to this incident and medical restrictions, he will have to miss the next match.

"I'm truly sorry. This situation hurts me because Real Madrid is one of the most important things in my life. More than anyone, it pains me that because of medical decisions, I won't be able to play in the next match. I'm at the club's disposal and ready to accept any disciplinary decision," he finished.

Reminder: Real Madrid has released an official statement on Federico Valverde's condition.
