Chinese heavyweight Zhang Zhilei has spoken about the possibility of a rematch with WBO interim world champion Joseph Parker.

According to the Chinese fighter, he is very interested in having a second fight with the Australian.

"Parker is definitely on my list of targets; it's one of the priority fights for me. I believe my managers and promoters will take care of everything. But whoever they put in front of me, I will say 'yes.'

My managers and promoters are working together, and a fight with Parker is being discussed. Is Parker a priority opponent for my next fight? Yes, you could say that. I'm open to all options and possible dates. September, October, November, December—I can prepare. If our teams can come to an agreement, I will step into the ring," Zhilei said in an interview with the YouTube channel Boxing News.

To recall, Parker defeated the Chinese fighter by majority decision in March.

Zhilei defeated Deontay Wilder in June. Earlier, there were rumors linking the Chinese fighter to a potential bout with Tyson Fury after his two consecutive victories over Joe Joyce.

Interestingly, Zhilei's team recently made a bold accusation against Anthony Joshua.
