The Moroccan tactician will take charge of the Egyptian giants next season.
Al Ahly have found a successor to Jess Thorup. The Egyptian club have turned to Moroccan Hussein Ammouta to get them back on track next season following a chaotic 2025–2026 campaign.
The Red Devils have appointed the 56-year-old Moroccan tactician as head of their coaching staff. Hussein Ammouta has signed a one-season contract with the Egyptian giants.
He is expected to earn $1.2 million a year. Al Ahly SC is ushering in a new era and hopes to regain its spark as early as next season.
