Huracán Host Corinthians With Knockouts Secured and Final on the Horizon

Huracán welcome Corinthians to Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. local time, in the final Group C match of the 2025 Copa Sudamericana. According to Olé, the Argentine side is all but guaranteed a place in the Round of 16, needing only to avoid a seven-goal defeat to remain atop the group. Still, coach Frank Darío Kudelka’s men will look to finish strong and aim for the tournament’s best overall record.
This match serves as a lead-up to Sunday’s Apertura Final against Platense, yet Huracán won’t be taking it lightly. Leonardo Sequeira leads the attack, with Gabriel Alanís providing width and flair. The team remains undefeated in Sudamericana play, with three wins and two draws, and has impressed both at home and on the road.
Corinthians, on the other hand, face a far more uncertain scenario. They currently sit second with eight points and must win to avoid, depending on the outcome of América de Cali vs Racing de Montevideo. A draw or loss could see them overtaken by the Colombian side, who trail by just one point and hold the superior goal differential.
Huracán are flying high, but they know the job isn’t finished. Tuesday’s match is a final dress rehearsal before their biggest domestic clash of the year.
