Human remains were found near the Manchester United base. The police have launched an investigation

Several meters from the Manchester United base, human remains wrapped in a plastic bag were discovered, as reported by The Telegraph.

A public representative found these remains on Thursday, April 4th, in the afternoon, within the woodland of Kersal Dale in Salford. This area encompasses the former grounds of Manchester United's main team, now housing the club's academy, all of which has been sealed off.

Due to the deteriorated state of the remains, immediate identification and ownership could not be determined. The police summoned specialists, who confirmed them to be human. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police stated that although the remains have not yet been identified, they have initiated a homicide investigation. At present, no arrests have been made.
