The newly promoted Premier League side are looking to strengthen their squad by signing Nobel Mendy.

Although Rayo Vallecano signed Nobel Mendy on a permanent deal this summer following his loan spell from Real Betis, the Senegalese player is already attracting interest in England. The 21-year-old’s performances and potential are said to have caught the eye of Hull City, who are keen to add more solidity to their defence for next season.

The newly promoted Premier League side are reportedly going on the offensive to sign the Senegalese centre-back. According to reports, the English club have tabled an offer of €18 million to Rayo Vallecano in a bid to persuade the Spanish side to let their player go.

The Madrid-based club has not yet responded to this offer. However, the proposal could be seen as an attractive one, particularly as Rayo Vallecano paid just €3 million to sign Nobel Mendy this summer.

It remains to be seen, however, whether Rayo Vallecano will agree to part ways with their Senegalese international.
