Hull City confirms the signing of Lucas Gourna-Douath

The Franco-Central African midfielder has signed a five-season contract with the Premier League side.

Lucas Gourna-Douath is embarking on a new chapter in his professional career. The player of Central African origin has joined a newly promoted side in the English Premier League.

The 23-year-old midfielder has joined Hull City from Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg. Lucas Gourna-Douath has signed a five-year contract with the Tigers. He is therefore tied to the club until June 2031.

The Franco-Central African midfielder arrives in the Premier League with an European experience. He has played in France’s Ligue 1, Italy’s Serie A and the Austrian Bundesliga. Upon signing his contract, Lucas Gourna-Douath expressed his pride and his ambitions.

“I’m really happy because it was such a long journey from the first phone call until I signed. I’m so excited to get started. I know Hull City is a big family club. Playing in front of our fans will be fun. It will be amazing for me.
