Hubert Yao signs for FC Nordsjælland
The young Ivorian striker will, however, join the Danish club in 2028.
Hubert Yao is a promising player. He is already making his mark with the Ivory Coast U17 national team. The Ivorian striker took part in the U17 World Cup in Qatar in 2025 and will also compete in the U17 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Morocco.
His talent and qualities have caught the eye of FC Nordsjælland, who wanted to secure his services even before he came of age. But we will have to wait until 2028, when Hubert Yao turns 18, to see him arrive at Nordsjælland.
Upon signing his contract, the young Ivorian striker expressed his pride.
I am very happy that my move to FC Nordsjælland when I turn 18 has now been confirmed. It is a childhood dream come true, and my family and I are very proud. I can’t wait to play my first match for the club.
