Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, revealed the reason for Erling Haaland's absence from the squad for the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

According to the manager, the Norwegian striker is injured, and the severity of his injury is currently unknown.

"Erling Haaland is injured. I don't think it's serious, but he is not available today. I don't know if he will return for the next game," quoted Fabrizio Romano citing Guardiola.

In the current season, the star Norwegian forward has scored 31 goals and provided 6 assists in 39 matches across all competitions.

Manchester City and Chelsea are playing their match in London at the Wembley Stadium. The winner of today's match will face the victor of the Coventry - Manchester United tie in the FA Cup final. Coventry and Manchester United are scheduled to play on Sunday, April 21.
