Tuberculosis is not currently considered a widespread disease, and after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, viral diseases have somewhat faded from memory. Unfortunately, they were reminded of at the Dutch PSV.
The press service of the Eindhoven club announced that one of their players was diagnosed with an open form of tuberculosis, which can spread through airborne droplets. Despite this, PSV stated that there are currently no grounds to believe that anyone else has been infected.

However, precautionary measures have been taken, and the entire situation is under control according to safety protocols. The footballer, whose name is prohibited from being disclosed by Dutch law, is feeling well, and further information will be provided later.
UPD: Following the publication, Dutch media reported that tuberculosis has been discovered in former Arsenal London player Lucas Perez, who only moved to PSV in January this year.
